Close finish at bass tourney
Bruce Hall and Vince Fink won the Susquehanna Bass Association’s Neptune Diner Open Bass Tournament, which ran June 30 on Cayuga Lake.
Hall and Fink filled the five-fish limit with a winning weight of 15.76 pounds. Don Green and Amos Bates placed second at 15.41 pounds. They were followed by Lou Falvo and David Hubbard (13.20).
Mike Barse and Vic VanSteenburg rounded out the top four at 12.45 pounds.
Bates caught the lunker of the day, a 20-inch largemouth weighing 4.39 pounds. Hall had the big smallmouth, at 17.5 inches and 2.99 pounds.

3D Bow Shoot set for Sunday
The Gilbertsville Rod & Gun Club at 158 Gun Club Road in Gilbertsville will host a 3D Bow Shoot on Sunday.
Sign-ins start at 7 a.m. Refreshments will be available.

OBGC to hold summer camps
The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club will host a football camp for boys ages 7-12 from 3-5 p.m. July 15-17.
First-year Oneonta High varsity football coach John Mushtare will run the camp, which costs $25 per player.
The OBGC also will hold a softball camp for girls ages 8-12 from 9-11 a.m. July 16-18. OHS varsity softball coach Randy Brockway will run the camp, which also costs $25 per player.

DC Women’s Amateur is July 20
The Delhi College Golf Course will host the Delaware County Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament on July 20.
The tournament, which features a championship division and five flights, is open to all Delaware County residents and non-residents who are members of Delaware County golf courses.
