Brantmeyer and DeSimone earned all-East recognition for the second time.
DeSimone and Scott also gained ECAC Division III Metro/Upstate all-star honors. Scott was named the Rookie of the Year. DeSimone was honored by the ECAC for the second time.
Brantmeyer, the SUNY Athletic Conference’s Player of the Year, made the all-region for the first time since her freshman season. A four-time all-SUNYAC selection, Brantmeyer led the Red Dragons with 16 points and tied for the team lead with six goals, including three that decided games. She joined Stamford graduate Mary Velan as the lone O-State players to win SUNYAC player and rookie of the year honors.
Over four years at O-State, Brantmeyer scored 20 goals and had seven assists.
DeSimone, a SUNYAC first-teamer, made the all-region for the first time since 2010. She had five goals and three assists.
Scott, the SUNYAC’s Rookie of the Year, was the Red Dragons’ starting sweeper. She had one assist.
“It’s great for our program to have three players recognized with all-region awards,” O-State coach Liz McGrail said in a media release sent by the school.
