Kids play for free at OCC

The Oneonta Country Club will offer free golf to children of members this season.

Introductory individual memberships cost $795 per year. Spouses may be included at a total family cost of $1,295.

The OCC also will offer a summer membership at the Oneonta Tennis Club featuring indoor and outdoor tennis as well as outdoor pool privileges from May 1 to Labor Day. For more information, call the OCC at 607-432-0950 or visit the website oneontacountryclub.org.

O-State to host basketball camp

The Oneonta State women’s basketball team will host a developmental overnight/commuter camp for girls ages 10-18 from the evening of July 20 to 3 p.m. July 23.

Camp counselors will include present team members. The camp is designed to develop fundamentals. Daily activities include one-on-one and three-on-three instruction, fundamental stations and games.

Cost is $305 for overnight residents and $265 for commuters. A $35 non-refundable deposit is required with each application. Registration form, health form, payment and emergency contact information form are required to attend camp.

Campers who submit applications with full payments by June 2 will receive a $10 discount. The discount is also available to groups of five or more from the same school who register together. Applications received after July 7 require payments in full at the time of registration.

OCC leagues start in April

The Oneonta Country Club is accepting sign-ups for its Wednesday night men’s league and its Thursday night open league.

Teams will play nine holes weekly in both leagues, which are open to the public.
