GOTR fundraiser set for Saturday
Girls on the Run of Central New York will host its second annual Guys Night Out at Brewery Ommegang from 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday.
This guys-only event is designed to create awareness of the program and to raise funds to support the nonprofit organization that provides a transformational learning program for girls in grades 3-8. GOTR CNY serves more than 750 girls annually across Otsego, Chenango, Delaware, Montgomery, Herkimer and Schoharie counties.
Brewery Ommegang will provide VIP treatment for all attendees. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a reception and beer tasting. Participants receive a complimentary beer glass with the tasting. A four-course dinner prepared especially for this event by the brewery’s chef will take place in Cafe Ommegang. College basketball games will be shown on the brewery’s televisions. Complimentary transportation from the Doubleday Field parking lot in Cooperstown to and from the brewery is included with each ticket.
