Taylor Davis scored a game-high 21 points to lead visiting Unadilla Valley to a victory in the Midstate Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

Emily Converse contributed 11 points and Breanna Christian finished with eight for the Storm (1-0), who took a 29-14 lead into halftime.

Ally Heavey finished with nine points and seven rebounds to lead Delhi, which received eight points from Allison Hannigan.

Delhi (1-2, 0-1) hosts Walton on Wednesday.

Margaretville athletic director Jeremey Marks said the Blue Devils’ Delaware League game against visiting Hunter-Tannersville was postponed because H-T was closed Monday. A makeup date has not been set yet.

Alex Cantwell and Jacob Zinkievich finished with 10 points apiece to lead Delhi to a non-league victory on the road.

Mitch Reed and Mike Staples contributed eight points each for the Bulldogs (3-0), who took a 21-point lead into halftime.

“We had a hard time with their press,” Gilbertsville-Mount Upton coach Matt Johnson said.

Nathaniel O’Hara scored a game-high 19 points, including three three-pointers, to pace the Raiders.

G-MU (0-3, 0-2) will host Morris on Friday.
