Unadilla Valley boys pull away from Afton, 66-52


Marina Mazzarella and Madison Cutting had games of 189 and 183 for Sidney’s girls, who lost, 6-0.

Sidney will travel to Hancock on Jan. 21.

Sean Mebust won two individual events and swam on a winning relay to lead visiting Cooperstown to victory.

Mebust touched first in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 14.84 seconds) and the 100 free (51.82).

Cooperstown (4-0) will host Holland Patent on Thursday.

Kristin Ratliff and Katie Franck had 13 and 12 assists, respectively, and Caroline Leonard and Brooke Liner finished with nine and seven kills, respectively, to lead visiting to Cooperstown to a Center State Conference victory Monday.

Cooperstown (9-2) is 3-1 in conference.
