SUNY Cobleskill’s track team just got a lot faster.

The Fighting Tigers announced Monday that Winston Lee has enrolled at the college for the spring semester, and will compete for the the indoor and outdoor track teams.

Lee, a Hudson High graduate, won the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Division II 100-meter title, along with the state Federation championship in the same event this past June. Lee was clocked in 10.62 seconds.

He also helped Hudson to a state title in the 400 relay, leading that squad to a 42.91 clocking.

Later in the summer, Lee finished fifth in the 100 in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, crossing in 10.77.

“We are excited to have an athlete of Winston’s caliber in our program and we hope to help him reach his educational, athletic and life goals during his time here at SUNY Cobleskill,” Cobleskill coach Brad Fichthorn said in a media release by the school.
