Baseball players and fans in this area have to be wondering when the faucet will be turned off.
Another wet day produced postponements for the Oneonta Outlaws, the Cooperstown Hawkeyes and the Oneonta's Legion squad.
The Outlaws' New York Collegiate Baseball League game at the Geneva Twins scheduled for Monday will be moved to Wednesday. Oneonta (9-7) and Geneva will play a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Geneva. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
Oneonta will host the Twins at 7 tonight.
The Hawkeyes (9-7) were scheduled to play a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader against the Elmira Pioneers on Monday at Doubleday Field. Instead, the first game, which was originally scheduled for June 22, will be played as part of doubleheader Wednesday at Doubleday Field. The second game was rescheduled for July 7, also part of a doubleheader at Doubleday.
Cooperstown will travel to play the Albany Dutchmen in a doubleheader at 5:05 p.m. today.
Oneonta's Legion team, which is 11-8, was supposed to play a District Six game at winless Windsor on Monday. No makeup date has been announced.
The Green Wave will travel to play Sidney at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
