Taylor Spranger went 2-for-4 with four RBIs to lead Schenevus to a Tri-Valley League victory in a five-inning game.

Ali Turner’s two-run double highlighted an 11-run first inning for the Dragons, who drew 18 walks. Teammate Dani Tefft contributed a three-run double.

Schenevus (3-6, 3-5) will play Gilboa at the Cobleskill-Richmondville Tournament on Saturday.

Catherine Johnson’s three-hitter included 14 strikeouts as the visiting Panthers cruised in the Tri-Valley League.

“She’s tough,” Worcester coach Jim Kenyon said of Johnson, an eighth-grader. “It’s just speed. They’re like BBs coming in there. My kids were all behind it.”

Sam Harrington and Sarah Lawrence all went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for Edmeston.

Monica Ridgeway had two hits for Worcester (6-3, 5-3), which will host Richfield Springs on Tuesday.

Unbeaten Milford received four hits from Kaley Chase, and three apiece from Marina Steele and Peggy Paffenroth en route to a Tri-Valley League win at home.

Paffenroth finished with four RBIs and Addy Lawson had a pair of hits for the Wildcats, who improved to 7-0 overall and in the league.
