Hall to host baseball clinic May 24
The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown will host its annual Legends for Youth Skills Clinic from 4-7 p.m. May 24 at Doubleday Field.
The clinic gives youths ages 5-12 a chance to learn hands-on training from several former Major League Baseball players. The event concludes with an autograph session for participants.

Clinton HOF inductions May 25
The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual General Clinton Canoe Regatta Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on May 25.
The ceremony will start with a meet-and-greet event from 3-4 p.m. at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge. Dinner will follow the meet-and-greet. Tickets are limited, cost $25 per person and must be ordered by Friday. Dinner tickets include reserved seating for the ensuing Induction Ceremony, which will be open to the public as standing room only.
The Bruce Beadle Band will play until the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Clinton Regatta adds new class
The General Clinton Canoe Regatta will offer a new class for the 70-mile Memorial Day race from Cooperstown to Bainbridge this year.
A competitive cruising class for adults and youths will be part of the Regatta, which is celebrating its 51st year. The class will leave Cooperstown at 7 a.m. May 27.

Youth soccer registration open
Registration forms for Oneonta’s fall recreational soccer program are being distributed through the Oneonta elementary schools.
