OHS baseball shut out at home

Greg Mattice, Geoff Mattice and Keating had two hits apiece for Delaware League Upper Division champion Stamford, which will play Downsville for the league championship at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Neahwa Park.

The Rams finished their season at 2-12.

Windham 15, H-T 5

Aidan Cohane doubled and drove in three runs to lead host Windham to a Delaware League victory.

Brandon Cohane singled twice for the Warriors (8-4, 5-3), who finished with six hits but took advantage of nine Hunter-Tannersville errors.

Tanner Slutzky singled twice for the Wildcats, who gave up six runs in the fourth to fall behind, 11-5.

Downsville 5, Franklin 2

Brad Dreher struck out 16 and walked two in a two-hitter as Downsville won a non-league game at home.

Colyn Bonadies homered and drove in three runs in a 2-for-2 effort for the Eagles, who got an RBI double from Dreher.

Downsville (7-4, 6-3) plays Stamford in the Delaware League championship game Thursday on Field 6 in Oneonta’s Neahwa Park.
