Jelic leads OHS to 6th-place finish


Richfield Springs stayed close with six champions, including doubles for Christina Gurley (100, 13.12; 200, 27.48) and Tessa Buck (long jump, 13-10.5; triple jump, 32-9.5).

Buck and Gurley joined Petra Peretin and Morgan Sylvester for victories in the 400 relay (54.26) and the 1,600 relay (4:23.17) as well.

Other double-winners were Milford’s Hannah Saggese (400, 1:03.52; 800, 2:31.61) and Edmeston’s Madison Kline (1,500, 5:29.25; 2,000 steeplechase, 8:01.97).

Saggese also anchored the winning 3,200 relay team, which featured Lia Solensten, Lizette Holiday and Keira Higgins and finished in 10:45.16.

Hurdles titles went to Davenport/SK’s Sarah Haight (100, 17.21) and Stamford’s Cassie Ehrhart (400, 1:11.01).

Shianne Coss rounded out the T-V girls champs with a win in the high jump at 4-6. Haight also cleared 4-6 but lost on jumps.
