The Hawks men won, 177-97, and the women earned a 163-135 victory as the programs moved to 12-0 and 10-2, respectively, on the season.
Chris Willcox won the 200-yard butterfly (1:58), the 200 individual medley (2:02.67) and the 100 butterfly (54.68) to pace the Hawks’ men, who received two victories apiece from Brad Ranson (200 free, 1:45.72; 100 free, 47.68) and Kenny Kleso (500 free, 4:47.86; 100 breaststroke, 58.32). Kleso’s time in the breaststroke set a Moyer Pool record as he topped Michael Phillips’ mark of 59.15, which was set last year.
Luke Grunewald (1,000 free, 9:57.03), Cory Perez (100 backstroke, 54.93) and Jeremy Torres (200 breaststroke, 2:13.31) also touched first for the Hawks, who won the 200 medley relay in 1:57.99.
Imma Rutigliano paced Hartwick’s women with victories in the 200 backstoke (2:17.49), the 100 backstroke (1:03.74) and the 200 IM (2:19.88).
Jade Woodend won the 100 free (55.31) and the 100 butterfly (1:02.18) for Hartwick, which received wins from Clare Nelson in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.42) and the 100 breaststroke (1:11.03).
Kaitlyn Campbell contributed a victory in the 200 free (2:02.26) for the Hawks, who won the 200 medley relay in 1:55.15.
Hartwick visits Empire 8 rival Alfred this Saturday.
Oneonta rode three seconds and two thirds to 373 points for a fourth-place team finish during the Kumpf Invitational at Rensselaer on Saturday. Ithaca won the team title with 605 points.
Jermaine Miller finished second in 1-meter diving (299.20 points) and third in 3-meter diving (302.40) to pace O-State, which received runner-up finishes from Oneonta High graduate Alex Miller (200 backstroke, 1:59.29) and Ryan Walsh (200 butterfly, 2:03.87).
Lucas Santiago contributed a third in the 200 IM (2:05.37).
Oneonta visits New Paltz on Jan. 26.
SUNY Cobleskill finished last in the eight-team field with 12 points. Sam Scott placed 11th in the 1-meter dive (185.80) to pace the Fighting Tigers, who will compete in a triangular meet against Bethany College and host Frostburg State University on Wednesday.
J.D. Roth and Joe Fox finished sixth and eighth in the weight throw Friday to lead Oneonta State during the Gotham Cup, a non-scoring meet hosted by NYU at the Armory in New York City.
Fox also had a sixth in the shot put for the Red Dragons, who received a seventh from David Bohunicky and an eighth from Nate Weber in the 800-meter run.
Kate Parsons paced O-State’s women with a 14th in the weight throw.
Oneonta will compete in the NYU Team Challenge at 7 p.m. Saturday back at the Armory.
