Yaya Soto had 22 points, five assists and no turnovers in leading host SUNY Delhi to a Mountain Valley Conference win Saturday.
Milford graduate Mariah Coville and Gilbertsville-Mount Upton graduate Tanya Barnes had 12 points for the Broncos, who led by 11 points at halftime. Barnes’ teammate at G-MU, Bri Lambert, contributed 10 points.
Delhi (12-10) will travel to Clinton at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Oneonta 36, Oswego 6
Freshman Zachary Aal and Joseph Gates earned early pins that helped visiting Oneonta State to a SUNY Athletic Conference win.
Aal opened the match by pinning Johnny Marquez in 2:01. Gates needed 2:19 to stop Quamaine Thomas at 141 and give the Red Dragons a 15-0 lead.
Ben Mikac (133), Noah Valastro (149), Dan Graff (157), Donnie VanBuren (174), Greg Du Vall (184) and Chad Obzud (197) also had wins for the Red Dragons (5-7), who will host King’s College at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Hartwick’s men improved to 14-0 with a 159-60 at St. Lawrence and the Hawks’ women moved to 12-2 with a 138-99 victory.
Four Hartwick men earned their first wins of the season: Evan DeGidio (200-yard freestyle; 1 minute, 51.19 seconds); Daniel MacElveen (100 backstroke; 57.84); Ryan Cichielo (100 breaststroke; 1:04.86); and Kris Sanders (1,000 free; 10:28.58).
Andrew Beckham won both of his diving events. He had a score of 220.95 in the 1-meter dive and a score of 269 in the 3-meter event.
Jade Woodend set a pair of pool records to lead the Hartwick women. She touched first in 24.43 in the 50 free and won the 100 free in 53.71.
Lindsay Bowker won the 1- and 3-meter dives. She had a winning score of 214.15 in the 1-meter and a score of 249.65 in the three-meter. Her three-meter score set a pool record.
Hartwick will finish its regular season at 1 p.m. Saturday against visiting Stevens on Senior Regognition/Parent Appreciation day.
