Oneonta State's Bernstein places second at nationals

The Broncos finished 12th out of 16 teams with 190 points. It marks Delhi’s highest finish at nationals.

McEaney, the lone woman competing for Delhi, earned All-America honors in three events.

She broke the school record in the 200 butterfly, finishing 10th in 2:35.45. The previous record of 2:38.14 was set by Tessa Farrar in 2008. McEaney first broke the record in prelims when she touched in 2:36.10.

McEaney also placed 10th in the 200 individual medley, touching in 2:33.88, slightly slower than the 2:33.66 she swam in prelims.

In the 100 butterfly, McEaney placed 11th in 1:04.89.
