Outlaws, Hawkeyes postponed

STAFF REPORT

For the second straight night, rain forced the postponements of games involving the Oneonta Outlaws and Cooperstown Hawkeyes.

The Outlaws’ New York Collegiate Baseball League game against the visiting Syracuse Salt Cats on Tuesday will now be played as part of a July 6 doubleheader at Damaschke Field. Both will be seven-inning games with the first starting at 5 p.m.

Oneonta (1-1) is scheduled to travel to Le Moyne College at 2 p.m. today to play a doubleheader against the Salt Cats.

The Hawkeyes (2-0) were supposed to travel to Albany on Tuesday in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. No makeup date has been announced for that game.

Cooperstown will host the Glens Falls Golden Eagles at 11 a.m. today.
