Hall to host baseball clinic Friday

The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown will host its annual Legends for Youth Skills Clinic from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Doubleday Field.

The clinic gives youths ages 5-12 a chance to learn hands-on training from several former Major League Baseball players. The event concludes with an autograph session for participants.

Green Wave to host dinner

The Oneonta Green Wave Legion baseball team will host a spaghetti-and-meatballs dinner from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Oneonta American Legion at 279 Chestnut St. in Oneonta.

The meal also includes tossed salad and bread. Donation is $8 per dinner.

A gift basket will be raffled off during the dinner.

Clinton HOF inductions Saturday

The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual General Clinton Canoe Regatta Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday.

The ceremony will start with a meet-and-greet event from 3-4 p.m. at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge. Dinner will follow the meet-and-greet. Tickets are limited and cost $25 per person. Dinner tickets include reserved seating for the ensuing Induction Ceremony, which will be open to the public as standing room only.

The Bruce Beadle Band will play until the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Aug. 9-11: Pro National MX Weekend.

Sept. 7-8: Grand National Cross Country.
