Hartwick College seniors Harry Hughes and Jake Cooper will represent the North Team during the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Lax World North/South game at 3 p.m. Friday at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa.
The selections of Hughes and Cooper mark the seventh straight year Hartwick has had at least one player in the 72nd annual game.
Hughes led Hartwick in goals (45) and points (57). He’ll leave Hartwick as the school’s all-time leader in goals with 185.
Cooper, a defenseman, led the Hawks with 16 caused turnovers and finished second on the team with 48 groundballs. He also had four goals and one assist. Over four seasons with the Hawks, Cooper had 159 groundballs and 46 caused turnovers.
