Kailub Russell earned his fourth consecutive victory Sunday, taking the points lead XC1 Pro Class after winning Round 10 of the 13-stop AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin.

Charlie Mullins won the holeshot at the start of the three-hour race and stuck around for the finish as he battled Russell for the lead throughout.

With two laps to go, top-five starter Josh Strang entered into the mix. The three went wheel-to-wheel over the last lap, but Russell entered the final stretch in front and held off the former GNCC champions. Mullins edged Strang for second place.

Russell holds a five-point lead over Mullins in the division standings and owns a 250-248 cushion in the overall national championship standings with three events remaining in the motorcycle series.

In the XC2 Pro Lites Class, Andrew DeLong jumped to an early lead en route to a victory in his second race back from injury. DeLong earned his fourth XC2 win of the season and was followed by Zach Osborne and Scott Grills.

Points-leader Grant Baylor placed fourth. He holds a 37-point lead over Jason Thomas.

On Saturday, Chris Borich earned his 66th career victory with an ATV track title at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin.

Borich held off Walker Fowler during the two-hour XC1 Class race, which started with Jeff Pickens winning the holeshot. Fowler quickly took the lead, but Borich was right behind him and a back-and-forth battle for the top spot ensued.

Defending track champion Jarrod McClure placed third, followed by Kevin Yoho and Adam McGill. Pickens placed eighth.

Borich leads the division standings with 281 points. Fowler is second, at 212.

Brycen Neal won the XC2 Pro Am division after Michael Lancaster earned the holeshot award. Neal, who leads the division with 250 points, took the lead during the second lap and cruised to victory.

New Yorker Nathan Thomas placed second, followed by Josh Merritt, Patrick McGuire and Chad Jones. Neal holds a 70-point lead over Fred Marley in the division standings.

Round 11 of the series will run Sept. 21-22 in Foxburg, Pa.
