Thomas Petrutoni scored in the second half for the Bobcats (3-2, 3-1), who will visit Greene on Wednesday.

SV 4, Oneonta 3

The visiting Yellowjackets erased a two-goal deficit by scoring three goals in a span of 3:38 of the second half before Susquehanna Valley rallied to win in double-overtime in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference game.

Jake Evans scored the second of his two goals with 4:56 left in the second overtime to give the Sabers the victory in a rematch of last season’s Section Four Class B final that SV won, 5-2.

Evans received a throughball from Ryan Caroway, who finished with three assists.

SV forced overtime when Ryan Lehtonen scored with 1:08 to go in regulation. Lehtonen took a 22-yard shot that deflected off a player and into the goal.

“I thought we played well, but it seemed like when we made mistakes they capitalized,” OHS coach Alex Brannan said. “When you make mistakes against a team like that, they will capitalize, especially at their place.”

Oneonta’s comeback started with Theo Malone’s goal with 16:26 remaining. Zach Joseph took a direct kick that deflected off the post. Ian Oliver controlled the deflection and took a shot that got behind SV goalie Matt Merrell. Malone was there to tap in the rebound to make it 2-1.

Malone set up Oneonta’s second goal. He beat several players along the left wing before sending a crossing pass that Kragh Delello finished at the far post.

Joseph tied the score with 12:48 remaining to give OHS a 3-2 lead. He took a free kick that deflected off of one of the players forming SV’s wall and into the goal.

Oneonta (2-1, 2-1) will host Seton Catholic Central on Tuesday at the Wright National Soccer Campus.

Davenport 2, Delhi 1

Sarah Haight scored the winning goal with 13:24 seconds remaining to lead the Wildcats to victory in the championship game of the Stamford Mayor’s Cup.
