Morris 0, Franklin 0
Franklin’s Turner Thies made 11 saves, two more than counterpart Aidan Staib, as the Tri-Valley League rivals played to a tie.
“It was a tale of two halves,” Morris coach Dave Sander said. “Franklin dominated the first half and then we dominated the second half. In the first half, we had two shots and they had seven shots. It flipped in the second half and then it was back and forth in overtime.”
Sander added that Derek Beers had a couple of good looks for Franklin.
Morris (6-3-1, 6-3-1) will host Gilbertsville-Mount Upton on Saturday.
