Alyssa Cranston finished with eight kills and five blocks Tuesday to lead second-seeded host Sidney to a 21-25, 25-21, 27-25, 25-19 victory over visiting Bainbridge-Guilford in a Midstate Athletic Conference 1-4 Tournament semifinal.
Teammate Paige Redmond contributed 19 assists and Taylor Krom had eight kills for the Warriors (14-3), who advanced to Friday’s MAC 1-4 Tournament title game against top-seeded Harpursville or No. 4 Walton. Harpursville hosted Walton in the other semifinal Tuesday, but no information on their match was available at press time.
Morgan Bullis paced third-seeded Bainbridge-Guilford (13-4) with 10 assists, five kills and four blocks. The Bobcats will play the MAC 1-4 consolation game Thursday.

Shelby Pettersen finished with five aces, four assists and four digs to lead sixth-seeded host Deposit to a 25-15, 25-11, 26-24 triumph in a MAC 5-8 Tournament semifinal.
Teammate Catherine Bush contributed four aces, three kills and two assists for the Lumberjacks (7-5), who will play at fifth-seeded Hancock on Friday in the MAC 5-8 final.
Shannon McIntyre led No. 7 seed Unadilla Valley (5-7) with two aces and four assists. The Storm will host eighth-seeded Oxford in the MAC 5-8 consolation Thursday.

Kylee Letosky had 10 digs, six aces and five assists to lead host Hancock to a 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 MAC 5-8 semifinal victory.
Patti Simpson finished with a team-best nine digs for eighth-seeded Oxford.
Mackinzie Mee contributed seven digs and three kills for No. 5 seed Hancock (9-8), which hosts Deposit on Thursday in the MAC 5-8 final.
MAC 9-12 Tournament
Ninth-seeded Unatego won the MAC 9-12 Tournament title with a pair of home victories.
The Spartans followed a 3-1 semifinal victory over Delhi with a 3-0 sweep of Afton in the final.
Marissa Woodard had eight kills and Leanne McKee finished with eight aces in Unatego’s 25-22, 18-25, 25-18, 27-25 semifinal defeat of 12th-seeded Delhi. Sarah Bedient’s four aces, five assists and eight digs paced the Bulldogs.
In the final, Kali Benedict’s 15 aces lifted the Spartans (8-10) to a 25-11, 25-20, 25-17 win. Woodard contributed five kills and Taylor Reed had four aces for Unatego, which hosted both semifinals, the consolation and the title game Tuesday night.
Alisha Hubbard had six aces, three kills and four assists for the Crimson Knights, who advanced to the final with a 25-15, 25-23, 25-14 defeat of Greene. Hubbard had 10 assists against the Trojans, who gave up 10 aces to Emily Greenwood and six kills to Amanda Greenwood.
Greene went on to beat Delhi, 17-25, 25-18, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22, in the consolation match. Mary Messina’s eight kills led the Trojans. Bedient amassed 11 assists and five aces for Delhi, which received seven kills and 17 digs from Mindy Schmitz.
