Robert Lee Giudice
LIMESTONE _ Robert Lee Giudice, 60, of Limestone, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, Pa., after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 17, 1951, in Oneonta, to Frank and Constance Winnie Giudice. Bob graduated from Oneonta High in 1969, and SUNY Delhi in 1971. He earned a Private Pilot's license in 1968, and he won Oneonta's first Soap Box Derby in 1964. In addition to flying, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and most of all joking with family and friends using his sharp wit and ready smile.
Bob worked as manager of McCrory's 5 & 10, then employed by Tate's Department Store, Bradford Pipe & Supply, and most recently Control Chief Corp. in Bradford, Pa.
He was a member and former Deacon of Grace Lutheran Church, past member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, and had been a Little League Coach. He was also a founding member of the Big 30 Committee for local charities, and was an active member of the Bradford YMCA Swim Team Parents Club.
Bob is survived by his wife, Julie Burton Giudice; and son, Matthew. Also surviving are parents, and sister, Frank, Connie, and Beth Giudice of Oneonta; his wife's parents, Wade and Dee Burton; her brother and his wife, Steve and Amy and their children, all of Diamond, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
