ONEONTA — Shirley Ann (Hufford) Hegeman, 83, of Oneonta, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, in Albany.
Born Sept. 6, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Florence (Lotz) Hufford, she was a member of Shiloh Church and a graduate of Fairview High School.
In 1947, in Asheville, N.C., she married Charles H. Stapleton Jr., who preceded her in death in 1954. In 1961, she married John W. Hegeman in Dayton, Ohio.
