ONEONTA — Barbara A. Lindberg, 66, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at home.
She was born Dec. 4, 1947, in Hartwick, the daughter of David A. and Dorothy H. (Jacobs) Lindberg.
Barbara was a life resident of Oneonta. She enjoyed reading. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Anna Louise Lindberg; and a brother, John H. Lindberg.
Barbara is survived by her six sisters, Bonnie (Fred) Marble of Oneonta, Betty (Louie) Barnes of Mount Vision, Susan (Ivan) Norton of Morris, Norma Jones of South Edmeston, Deborah (Walter) Stretch of Roseboom, Esther (John) Roote of Gilbertsville; six brothers, David (Penelope) Lindberg Jr., of West Laurens, Iver (Lillian) Lindberg of Cooperstown, Richard (Judy) Lindberg of Oneonta, Frank (Ruth) Lindberg of Connecticut, Donald (Doris) Lindberg of Worcester, Douglas Lindberg of Otego; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. Keith VanDewerker, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Lena Cemetery in Mount Vision at later date.
