ONEONTA — Alice Pat Molinari passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.

Pat was born July 4, 1921, in Belfast, N. Ireland. She was the daughter of Patrick Joseph and Jane Christie Bradley. She met and married Gerald R. Molinari of Oneonta in Ireland when they both worked for Lockheed Overseas Corporation during World War II. Mr. Molinari predeceased her in June of 1968. She was also predeceased by an infant son, her parents, three sisters, Ellen of London, England, Janie of N. Ireland and Kathleen of California, and one brother Billy of Belfast, N. Ireland.

She is survived by seven children, Terence (Cean) Molinari of Richmond Hill, Ga., Kevin (Linda) Molinari of Oneonta, Kathleen and husband Vic Williams of Oneonta, Margaret and husband Bob Stineford of Oneonta, Christine Wilsey of Oneonta, Patricia Krom and companion Daniel Boyce of Greenwich, NY, and Maureen and husband Bill Van Deusen of Oneonta; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Molinari was very proud of her Irish birthright and kept in touch with many of the Irish families in Oneonta as well as home in Ireland. She enjoyed going to the Notre Dame football games with her husband, Gerald, who was a Notre Dame alumnus. She was very pleased to have met Senator Robert Kennedy and have a picture taken with him when he came to Neahwa Park. He shook hands with her when she inquired about his mother’s health as all the Kennedy brothers were close to their mother Rose.

A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 39 Walnut St., Oneonta with the Rev. Joseph Benintende, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
