Jeffery Alan Frazee
MANHATTAN, Mont. — Jeffery Alan Frazee, 57, of Manhattan, Mont., passed away Dec. 12, 2013.
He was born Jan. 13, 1956, in Stamford, to Maurice and Mildred (Stryker) Frazee. Jeff was raised in Stamford, and graduated from Stamford High School.
After high school he moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., and met the love of his life Carole Proffitt in Woodland Park, Colo. They later married on Dec. 24, 1983. Their first son, Alan Chance was born in Colorado Springs in 1984.
The family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where Jeff attended Kirkwood Community College pursuing a degree in horticulture. Their second son, Dennis Alan was born there in 1986. The family then moved to Gainesville, Ga., in 1989, when Jeff accepted a job as a Landscape Installation Foreman.
He started his own business, Coldstream Landscape Development Inc., in 1992, and focused on Koi Pond installation and Stone Masonry. The family later moved to Williamsburg, Va., in 2002.
Jeff and Carole moved to Bozeman, Mont., shortly after Dennis joined the U.S. Army in 2004. After many years of hard manual labor Jeff pursued other ways of providing for him and Carole including errand services and Dry Floral Design.
Jeff wanted most to be remembered for being a hard working, loyal man that always did his best, with pride. He had a strong urge of exploration and loved humor.
He was a devoted husband and father, and loved his family and all living things.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carole; two sons, Chance and Dennis (Rita); newborn granddaughter, Claire; brother, Larry (Janice); sister, Barbara (John) Pautler; uncle, Albert (Katherine); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
