Edward Quinn Waterman
WORCESTER — Edward Quinn Waterman, 65, passed away Jan. 7, 2014, at home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1948, in Oneonta, the son of Alton and Marie (Quinn) Waterman.
Ed was a proud United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He worked for several area businesses, including the Worcester Creamery, Astrocom Electronics, the Box Factory and Dreams Park.
Ed was a life member of the Worcester American Legion and past commander, a member of the Schenevus VFW and Worcester Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially bowling.
He is survived by his significant other for over 30 years, Marilyn Figary; and her children and their families; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; and an infant son, Edward Quinn Waterman Jr.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at the E.J. Skinner Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., Worcester. The funeral will start at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, officiating.
Interment with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.
