ROXBURY — Mark L. Cammer, 50, of Roxbury, passed away Wednesday, March 12,, 2014, at the Gabrilove Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Mark was born on Aug. 17, 1963, at Margaretville Hospital to Roy and Deborah Cammer.

Mark was a graduate of Roxbury Central School and an area contractor for more than 30 years.

He married Andrea Munsell on Aug. 27, 1988, at the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; his children, Matthew and Marlise; his mother, Debbie; brother, Steve (Lisa Hamilton); and his sister, Cathy. Mark is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Barbara and David Munsell; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Kevin Romanewicz. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Rieley (Allen Keator), Keri, and Reese Cammer, Kyle Romanewicz, and Bryce Keator; and several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Roy J. Cammer; his grandparents, Bertha and Lynn Cammer and Robert and Catherine Decker.

Mark was an avid skier and golfer. He loved playing and watching basketball, baseball and football. Mark was a lifelong fan of the Giants and Syracuse Orangemen.

Mark was a member of the Roxbury Nine from 2001 to 2008, when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was a member of the Plattekill Ski Patrol for 10 years. Mark also enjoyed raising his beef cows.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church in Roxbury.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
