SIDNEY — Brian Allen Lathan, 31, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.

Brian was born on June 29, 1982, son of Bruce and Bonnie (Tuttle) Lathan in Sidney.

He graduated from Sidney High School, Class of 2000, where he was an exceptional bowler.

Brian loved his family. On July 27, 2013, he married Danielle Savory and his family grew with his stepchildren, Alexis and Cameron.

Brian loved music and was a skilled guitar player. He also enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his wife and children; Brian is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and David Scanlon; father and stepmother, Bruce and Cheryl Lathan; brother, Bradley and Anna Lathan; sister, Carlee Tuttle; stepsister, Amy Oliver and children; grandparents, Judy and Don Poltz; brother-in-law, Matt Savory and children; special friend, Mike Leidy; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. George Etzel and his wife, Sara, and Gary Dubben.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
