STAMFORD — Mr. Leonard Roselli, 76, of Stamford, died Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Mr. Roselli was born in 1937, in Manhattan, New York City, to Vincent and Mary (Figarazzo) Roselli.
He was enrolled in the Marine Corps and then became a New York City Policeman.
In January of 1966, he charmed his way in to marry Patricia (Morris) Roselli.
After a life threatening accident during duty, he retired from the NYPD. He moved his family to Stamford, where they built a wonderful home to raise their family in. He was known for his myriad of police and fishing stories.
He was a loving father who would do anything for his four children, Vincent, Sarah, Marian and Michael Roselli.
He was a great grandpa always playing games and taking his grandson fishing. He was a great man who always showed a positive attitude and worked hard to provide for his family.
His beloved wife and mother of his children passed away six years ago due to a battle with cancer.
Mr. Roselli is survived by his four children, son, Vincent Roselli and his two children, Cassandra Roselli and Caroline Roselli; daughter, Sarah Roselli and her two children, Nicolas Constable and Rachel Constable; daughter, Marian Roselli and her two children, Connor Goodchild and Ethan Goodchild; son, Michael Roselli. Mr. Roselli is also survived by his sister, Joanne Roselli; and nephew J.P. Blackford.
Mr. Roselli was predeceased by his two sisters, Margaret (Roselli) Blackford and Martha Roselli; and his parents, Vincent (Jimmy) and Mary Roselli.
Services will be a memorial talk at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014.
