STAMFORD — Stanley E. Mikolajczak, 62, of Stamford, passed away at home Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013.
He was born April 3, 1951, in Cobleskill, the son of Edward and Mary Ann (Wise) Mikolajczak.
He married Margaret Swart.
Stanley was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1969 until 1971. A lifelong area resident he worked as a welder at Catskill Castings, Bloomville.
He is survived by his wife, Marge Mikolajczak; a brother, Edward Mikolajczak; stepdaughter, Ericka Benjamin; stepsons, Jason and Timothy Haner; and stepgranddaughters, Angelia and Carisa Benjamin.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart, with the Rev. David Collins officiating.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening, Oct. 11, 2013. Burial with military honors will follow the service in Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice.
