He was a kind and loving husband and father that put family before his career. He loved music and was an accomplished violinist and was a gifted true tenor. He sang in church choirs all his life and most recently with a gospel quartet at his Waters Edge residence in Bradenton.
The family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929, in lieu of flowers.
Services will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in Bradenton, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
