MORRIS — Pastor Norman R. Tiffany completed his life of service to others and entered his eternal home Sunday, April 6, 2014.
In his 58 years of ministry, he pastored a number of church communities including Meshoppen, Russel Hill, Keiserville, Lehman, Idetown on Jackson, Greene, Coventry, Smithville Center, Clarks Green, Castle Creek, Glen Castle, Morris, Garrettsville, Sand Hill and Unadilla Center, not to mention several interim pastorates. He served on many conference committees and was a conference statistician for a number of years, serving one term as head statistician.
He was an active member of Rotary for 53 years, serving on numerous committees, three times as president and more recently as treasurer for a number of years. He was a charter member of Otsego County’s Habitat for Humanity serving on the board of directors.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kelly Tiffany; and daughter, Luann Singer.
He enjoyed seeing the growth of the next generation in his grandchildren, Devin Tiffany and Tiffany and Tyler Singer.
A celebration of life is being scheduled for later this year.
