STAMFORD/CANANDAIGUA — Jeanne “Mimi” Bonenfant, 90, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Canandaigua. She was formerly of Stamford and had been living in Canandaigua since 2007 to be near her niece.

Mimi was born in St. Mere-Eglise, France, and was the daughter of Joseph and Marie Louise (Guerin) Bonenfant. She emigrated from France to the United States in 1947, to live near her sister Marie, in Stamford. She loved the opera, theater and ballet. Mimi would often take her niece and nephew on trips to expose them to new places and cultures. She will be sadly missed, but joyfully remembered.
