CASTLETON - John W. Landers, 58 of Castleton, died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at home. John was born in Cooperstown to the late Marion Lennon and Kenneth Landers. He was raised in Richfield Springs before moving to the capital region 25 years ago, where he began working in sales for various copy companies, most recently as a Salesman for Camelot of Albany. John was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and had a great passion for music. He was a very talented musician who played with several bands in the New York State area throughout his lifetime. He was very proud to have passed this talent on to his children.
John is survived by his beloved wife: Courtney J. Landers ( Papa) two daughters: Chloe Landers and Jackie Ward (Brian), two sons, Jason and Johnny Landers, two sisters: Madeline Ryan and Shirley Mullings, and one brother: David Landers; He is also survived by two grandchildren Madison and Jayden and several nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday 6:00pm from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. Friends may call prior to the service from 3-6 pm. Contributions may be made to Rolling Thunder organization P.O. Box 216 Neshanic Station, NJ 08853 in his memory.
