BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Donald Fish of Brooksville, Fla., passed away after a brief stay in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla., on Dec. 2, 2012.
Born in Hartwick on May 27, 1924, one of 11 siblings to John and Mariam Fish.
With the completion of active duty World War II, Donald’s early career started at McGowan’s Plumbing in Cooperstown, and then he had a long career with the New York Electric and Gas Company in Oneonta.
Upon his retirement he and his wife, Betty moved to Brooksville, Fla.
Donald is survived by his wife of 68 years; and three sons, Steven, Paul, Louis; and two sisters, Harriet (Collison) and Elaine (McLean); as well as numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
Donald’s cremated remains will be held by the family.
