Frank A. Pedri Jr.
SOUTH GILBOA — Frank A. Pedri Jr., 74, of South Gilboa (formerly of Bardonia), passed away Oct. 24, 2013, at his home.
Born Sept. 18, 1939, son of the late Frank A. Pedri Sr. and Cecilia Anderson Pedri of Bardonia.
Frank served in the United States Army stationed in France. He worked as an oil barge captain for Reineuer Transportation Co. in Staten Island. Frank retired after 30 years of service in March 2013.
Frank enjoyed traveling, dining, fishing, hunting, camping life and his family and friends.
Frank will be remembered with love by his wife, Gail (Anderson) of 33 years; son, Michael F. Pedri of Brooklyn; daughter, Erika A. Pedri of Harlem; a brother, Richard F. Pedri and his wife, Barbara of Haverstraw; a nephew, Kevin and his wife, Carrie, their children Kevin Jr. and Kaci of Port Orange, Fla.; and a niece, Karen Pedri Tran and her husband, Tri of West Haverstraw. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Gloria Anderson of North Harpersfield; niece, Amanda and her husband, Greg Marshall and their children, Kamden, Braden and Logan of Round Lake, Ill.; and a nephew, Raymond Anderson of North Harpersfield.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the Hall-Tari Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Stamford.
Services will be held in the funeral home at noon Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, with Father Michael G. Cambi, pastor, officiating.
