WOBURN — Marion (Utter) Huntington, of Woburn passed away Oct. 19, 2013. She was 87.
She was the devoted mother of Frank Huntington and his wife, Sarah of Winchester; and grandmother of Charlie, Jamie, Kaylie and Karina. Also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
High-school sweetheart and loving wife of 63 years to the late Franklin Huntington.
She was born in Oneonta, and graduated from Oneonta High School in 1943, and from Elmira College in 1947.
She worked as a secretary to help Franklin graduate from Yale with a Ph.D. in history in 1954. She was a devout parishioner at St. Mary’s in Oneonta, St. Francis of Assisi in Springfield, Pa., and St. Barbara’s in Woburn.
She worked as a librarian at St. Francis and for the past 12 years at Country Club Heights in Woburn.
She loved gardening, public television, visiting friends in nursing homes, and all dogs, especially grand-dogs, Skipper and Lady.

A funeral service will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St., (Route 38), Winchester, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There will be no visiting hours.
