ALBANY — Michael L. Rose, 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at his home with his wife, June, at his side.
Michael was born on Aug. 5, 1949, in Binghamton, and was the son of the late Fred and Eunice (Price) Rose.
He was employed as a carpenter for many years in Albany and in Oneonta.
He enjoyed cooking, camping and almost anything outdoors.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, June Bonilla; his son, Michael J. Rose; his sisters, Patricia Wiedeman and Barbara Hollister, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Carolyn.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from noon to 2 p.m. and a luncheon will follow at the Albany Elks Lodge.
