WATERVILLE — Frank S. Raymond Jr., 79, of Waterville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at his home.
He was born in New York City on June 9, 1933, a son of the late Frank S. and Mildred Gorman Raymond and was raised and educated in Buchanan.
Frank served in U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Frank married Lorma P. Lynch, who predeceased him on June 28, 2000.
He was employed by C.P. Craska Trucking of Ilion until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Hull of Waterville, Marquetta Frisch of Minnesota, and Frank Raymond III and Thomas Raymond, both of Ohio; a sister, Charlotte Travis and Jerry Burns of Buchanan; a brother, William “Bill” Raymond and his wife, Eleanor of Schenevus; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great-grand puppy, Jazim.
He was predeceased by a son, Walter’; and a sister, Carol Thompson.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, from the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
Interment will be private.
Friends are invited and may call prior to the service at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday.
