CHERRY VALLEY — Mrs. Nellie E. Bouck, 95, passed away on July 17, 2013, at her son Joseph’s home in Edmeston, with her family by her side.
She was born in Middleburgh on Dec. 24, 1917, the daughter of George and Emma (Henness) Rivenburgh.
In 1933, she was united in marriage to Peter Bouck, who passed away in March of 1993.
She was a lifelong area resident having worked for 18 years for Otsego County as a nurse’s aide in The Meadows, also for General Electric and other various jobs in the area.
Mrs. Bouck is survived by her children, daughter, Shirley (Milt) Beaulieu; and sons, Leonard (Carol) Bouck, Joseph (Starr) Bouck, Willard (Linda) Bouck; son-in-law, Raymond Yerdon; daughter-in-law, Helen Colbran; brothers, Edward (Nancy) Rivenburgh, George (Fran) Rivenburgh. Also 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bouck was predeceased by a son, James Bouck; a daughter, Marian Yerdon; grandsons, Ricky and Jeffrey Yerdon and Kenneth Bouck; great-grandson, Adam Yerdon; and a sister, Blanche Merwin.
Funeral services will be held at the Ottman Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Cherry Valley, at 1 p.m. July 20, with calling hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. service time, with the Rev. Terry Brant officiating, pastor of the First Christian Church of South Valley.
