BAINBRIDGE — Marilyn Loker Day, 76, of Bainbridge, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta. Marilyn was born on Sept.10, 1936, in Walton. She was married to Roger Day on Sept. 18, 1954. They shared nearly 40 years of marriage before Roger predeceased her on August 28, 1994. Marilyn was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She loved flowers and enjoyed doing puzzles.
Marilyn is survived by son and daughter-in-law Randall and Deborah Day (Bainbridge); son Michael Day (Orlando, Fla.); grandchildren Justin and Jamie Day (Booneville) and Marcie Day (Cambridge, Mass.); great-grandchildren Aiden Day and Landon Day; sister Margot Goodrich and her husband, Donald (Franklin); sister Cheryl Axtell and her husband, Keith (Masonville); brother Darryl Loker and his wife, Jan (Sidney Center); as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Roger, Marilyn was predeceased by an infant daughter, Cynthia; her son, Gary; sister, Deborah; and her mother, Elaine Loker.
