GRANBY, Mass. — Donald Puffer, 77, of Granby, Mass., passed away on April 30, 2014.
He was born May 28, 1936, in Cannonsville, son of predeceased Vernie Puffer and Edna (Roof) Waldron.
Donald lived in Granby, Mass., for 60 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joan (Bergeron) Puffer; and six children, Anita, Wayne of Granby, Mass., Donald Jr. of Dickinson Center, Susan Wadas, Vicki McGurn, both of Holyoke, Mass., and Jeffery Puffer of West Springfield, Mass. He will also be missed by his stepsons, Thomas, Michael and David Peloquin; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Genevie and Donald Mott of Masonville; Marjorie Tiffany, Sidney, Vivian and Larry Granger, Chicopee, Mass.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families in Delaware County.
He was predeceased by a brother, James Waldron; and stepfather, Claude Waldron.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in the West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Joseph’s Indian School, 1301 North Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57326.
