Tracey Catherine Lindberg
SPRINGFIELD — Tracey Catherine Lindberg, 40, passed away unexpectedly May 2, 2014, at her home.
Tracey was born July 18, 1973, in Cooperstown, the daughter of Iver P. and Lillian C. (Rathbun) Lindberg. Tracey was a graduate of Cooperstown School Class of 1991, she was the salutatorian. In 1993, she graduated from Hartwick College with honors.
A life resident of Otsego County she worked at the Fly Creek Cider Mill, Fly Creek, The Otesaga, Cooperstown, Pathfinder Village, Edmeston, and SUNY College, Oneonta. She worshiped at the Church of Christ in Cooperstown.
Survivors include one sister, Tammy M. (James) Bartlett of Cooperstown; one brother, David G. Lindberg of Rochester; her parents, Iver P. and Lillian C. Lindberg of Cooperstown; nephews, Luke Bartlett, Jordan Mongeon Lindberg; aunts, Nancy Hussey of Laurens, Wanda Kubiak of North Carolina, Sandra (Warren) Brigham of Cooperstown, Polly Rathbun of Scenectady, Bonnie (Fred) Marble of Oneonta, Betty (Louie) Barnes of Mount Vision, Susan (Ivan) Norton of Morris, Norma Jones of South Edmeston, Debra (Walter) Stretch of Roseboom, Ester (John) Roote of Gilbertsville; uncles, Joe Rathbun of Schoharie, David (Penelope) Lindberg of West Laurens, Richard (Judy) Lindberg of Oneonta, Frank (Ruth) Lindberg of Connecticut, Donald (Doris) Lindberg of Worcester and Douglas Lindberg of Otego.
She was predeceased by grandparents, David A. and Dorothy (Jacobs) Lindberg, Levant G. Rathbun, Jennie (Stocking) Rathbun; aunts, Barbara Lindberg, Linda Allen, June Rathbun, uncles, John H. Lindberg and Gene Rathbun.
Tracey loved many cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, and her cats. She loved and helped her friends, their children, her family, and high school friends. She helped with many fundraisers in Otsego County.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, with the Rev. Steve Bartlett officiating. Visitation will precede the funeral service from, noon until service time at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Springfield Center Cemetery, Springfield Center.
