UNADILLA — Marion C. White, 90, of Unadilla, formerly of New Milford, N.J., passed away Aug. 26, 2013.
She lived in New Milford from 1950 until moving to Unadilla in 2011.
Born in West New York, N.J., on Dec. 27, 1922, to John and Agnes Craig. She was raised in Yonkers, and received her degree in fine arts from the Cooper Union in New York City.
Marion worked as a monogram designer for Steuben Glass in New York. She worked for many years for C&R Portrait Art Company, Hackensack, N.J.
She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Francis R. Bonvie, Matthew White; and her brother, John Craig Jr.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn B. Haines, Egg Harbor City, N.J., June B. Kilpatrick, Unadilla, and Robert C. Bonvie, New Milford, N.J. Marion was a loving grandmother to Ryan Kilpatrick (Amy), Russell Kilpatrick (Kate), Deborah Landry (Jeffery), Meredith Haines, and Robin H. Ridenour (Steven). She will be greatly missed by great-grandchildren, Christopher and Paige Haines, Joshua, Grayson and Adrianna Kilpatrick, Tucker, Willow and Hazel Landry, and Henry Kilpatrick. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was an active member of the New Milford Presbyterian Church until moving to Unadilla.
Marion stayed active with many arts and crafts including illustrating, calligraphy, oil painting, quilting and sewing.
Cremation and memorial services will be private.
