He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Kelsey Whitney; and most recently by his mother-in-law, Myra R. Webster.
Funeral services with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church, 56 Alden St., Cherry Valley, with the Rev. Ronald Fralick, pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the family plot in St. Johnsville Cemetery.
Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, Sept. 6, 2013. The brethren of the St. Johnsville Masonic Lodge No. 611 are asked to gather at the funeral home to conclude the visitation with a ritualistic service that will begin at 7:30 p.m.
It is the wish of the family that contributions in Jack’s memory be considered to the Ayers Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
