BEVERLY HILLS, Fla. — The Service of Remembrance for Mr. DeForest Leon Finch, 86, of Beverly Hills, Fla., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor Wayne Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Beverly Hills Chapel.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464 or HPH Hospice Foundation, Citrus Office, 3545 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465.

He was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Oneonta, son of Mark and Leila (Knap) Finch. He died May 2, 2013, in Lecanto, Fla.
Mr. Finch was a Navy veteran serving during World War II. He worked as a service representative for NY State Electric and Gas and moved to Beverly Hills, Fla., from Mohawk, in 1991.
Mr. Finch was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was a volunteer driver for Skill Bank, Beverly Hills.
Mr. Finch was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 65 years, Audrey A. Finch; two brothers, Stanton Finch and Martin Finch; and sister, Florabell Brooks.
Survivors include daughter, Gloria (John) Clark of Beverly Hills, Fla.; sister, Natalie Horth of Oneonta; three sisters-in-law, Alice Taylor, Anita Baird and Arlene Bunting; and numerous nieces and nephews.
