EDMESTON — Caroline A. Olds, 72, of Edmeston, died peacefully May 19, 2013, at Chase Memorial Nursing Home with her family by her side.
She was born Jan. 11, 1941, in Edmeston, the daughter of Lorenzo and Katherine (Hamm) Colegrove.
On Sept. 1, 1962, she married Ronald Olds, who survives.
Caroline was a house manager for Pathfinder Village in Edmeston for 25 years.
Caroline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was very devoted to Pathfinder Village and the residents there.
She enjoyed flower gardening and riding on the four-wheeler with her husband, Ron. She was well-known for collecting “collectables.”
In addition to her husband, Ron, her three sons, Ronald and Cheri Olds Jr., Donald Olds and Douglas Olds; her grandchildren, Kelly, Jason, Chris, Ashley, Mackenzie and Logan; and many nieces and nephews, survive Caroline.
Her parents and her brothers, John and Wesley Colegrove predeceased her.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Houk-Johnston-Terry Funeral Home with Celebrant Joan Kuhn Terry officiating. Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Edmeston Union Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in Caroline’s memory to the Edmeston Emergency Squad and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
