PRATTSVILLE — Theodore F. Hull, 90, resident of Johnson Hollow, Prattsville, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
Ted was born on May 22, 1922, at Johnson Hollow, Town of Roxbury the son of W. Bruce and Emily Ruth (Thompson) Hull.
Ted married Reta Martha Howard on Jan. 15, 1943, in Cooperstown. She died Nov. 13, 2000.
He joined the U.S. Army on July 21, 1944, and was discharged on July 2, 1946.
He graduated from the Grand Gorge Central School and attended New York State Rangers School of Forestry at the University of Syracuse.
He was employed by New York State. Ted lived in Potsdam, Albany, Cooperstown and Cobleskill while working and after retiring.
He was a member of Cobleskill Methodist Church, former member of Men of the Mt. Group of men and the AARP.
He is survived by nieces, Doreen VanValkenburgh, Elaine Gockel, Beverly Gockel, Marilyn Angelotti, Barbara Howard, Shirley Riddle, Cora Lee Alexander and Marilyn Howard; nephews, James Hull, Francis Hull, Gerald Hull, Robert Hull and Mark Howard.
He was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Francis.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the United Methodist Church, Prattsville, with the Rev. Charles Gockel officiating
Committal services will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
